Who are the Silsoe Pre-School Commitee?

A parent management committee manages Silsoe Pre School. All members of the committee are elected by the parents of the children who attend the Pre School in Silsoe. Elections take place at Silsoe's Pre School's Annual General Meeting that is held in October / November each year.

 They are as follows:

Silsoe Pre-School Committee Responsibilities.

The committee is responsible for:

• Creating a safe and happy environment for children to learn and grow, preparing them for school
• Striving to achieve the Ofsted vision:

  " to achieve excellence in the care of children and young people, and in education and skills for learners of all ages".

• Managing Silsoe Pre School's finances employing and managing the staff

• Making sure that Silsoe Pre School has and works to policies which help it to provide a high quality service
• Making sure that the Silsoe Pre School works in partnership with the children's parents, and assisting with fundraising.

The Annual General Meeting is open to the parents of all of the children who attend Silsoe Pre School. It is their forum for looking back over the previous year's activities and shape the coming year's activities
