A parent committee manages Silsoe Pre-School. All members of the committee are elected by the parents of the children who attend the Pre-School in Silsoe. Elections take place at Silsoe's Pre-School's Annual General Meeting that is held in October / November each year.

The committee is responsible for:

• Creating a safe and happy environment for children to learn and grow, preparing them for school
• Striving to achieve the Ofsted vision:

  " to achieve excellence in the care of children and young people, and in education and skills for learners of all ages".

• Managing Silsoe Pre-School's finances employing and managing the staff

• Making sure that Silsoe Pre-School has and works to policies which help it to provide a high quality service

• Making sure that the Silsoe Pre-School works in partnership with the children's parents, and assisting with fundraising.

The Annual General Meeting is open to the parents of all of the children who attend Silsoe Pre-School. It is their forum for looking back over the previous year's activities and shape the coming year's activities.
