A parent/carer committee of unpaid trustees manage Silsoe Pre-School. All members of the committee are elected by the parent/carers of the children who attend the Pre-School.

The committee of trustees is responsible for:

• Safeguarding and child protection - creating a safe and happy environment for children to learn and grow

• Managing Silsoe Pre-School's finances, employing and managing the staff

• Making sure that Silsoe Pre-School has and works to policies which help it to provide a high quality service

• Ensuring that the Silsoe Pre-School works in partnership with the children's parents and carers

• Fundraising to provide resources, events and activities which further children’s educational development
