 We offer places for new admissions on a termly basis with mid-term start dates available where there is availability.

In order for us to confirm places in advance, please submit an application form (below). We can get very busy so we recommend adding your child to the waiting list as early as possible. 

Frequently Asked Questions

We have put together some answers to questions we are regularly asked which we hope you will find useful. 

Can I have a look around the Pre-School?

Yes we would love to show you around so please just get in touch to arrange a time for you and your child to visit.

What is the induction process?

At the start of the term your child is joining us, you will be invited in to setting for a Stay & Play session. This is a great opportunity to meet your child's key person and for your child to familiarise themselves with our setting.  You will get to explore the setting, meet the rest of the team and speak to our Pre-School Manager to ask any questions you may have.

Can I apply for 2, 3 & 4 year old government funding?

Yes, Silsoe Pre-School is a 15 funded hours provider. If you are entitled to 30 hours then you can split your allocation across two settings provided that you do not exceed your total entitlement per week of funded early years education across the two settings. 

Do you accept childcare vouchers and tax credits?

Yes we accept all recognised childcare vouchers.

How do I register for a place?

Please download the Application Form below, complete it and return to us with your registration fee, if applicable.

What is the registration fee for & do I need to pay it?

The fee covers the administrative cost of processing your registration e.g. liaison regarding session requirements, sending out welcome packs and so on. All children who are attending non-funded sessions must pay the registration fee at the time of submitting their application. 

If your child will be attending more than 5 sessions per week or is not eligible for government funding on their start date, then you do need to pay the registration fee.
